Surchem W-Salt is a sequential Oxidative/Reductive wool scour processing system that has been developed to promote wool felting and to minimize progressive shrinkage of woolen goods during scouring.
Additionally, Surchem W Salt and Surchem W Dev, when used sequentially in a pre-conditioning scour prior to dyeing wool socks prevents reversion to the natural wool yellow shade after the dyeing cycle. Also, light fastness of pale shades is improved and yellowing after prolonged dyeing cycles is minimized. Clarity, brilliance, and purity of the dye shade is maintained throughout the dye cycle and subsequent processing.
